Sinopse
Every tourist coming to Portugal through Badajoz had to pass by the door of Zé Marôvas. He managed to find a way to call their attention and make them stop by his store.
Now that a new highway has been built, he can wait hours for a customer. But people and cars keep passing by and Zé Marôvas keeps passing all his time in his corner shop.

Director’s Biography and curricula
Born in 1984 in Lisbon, she graduated in Film Direction from the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema. Her first short film, “Dear Carlos Alberto”, won several awards both nationally and internationally. “Passing by Zé Marôvas” is her first documentary film. It was shot in Redondo where she has lived 16 years of her life. She now lives in Faial, Azores.
